OVERVIEW

HENI is an international art services company working with leading artists and estates across art, publishing, digital, and research. I contributed to a wide range of HENI’s digital products, working across 15 distinct websites spanning art collecting, editions, publishing, exhibitions, NFTs, commerce, and artist platforms. The work involved creating cohesive digital experiences for diverse audiences, while responding to the unique requirements of each platform and maintaining a consistent, recognisable HENI brand across its growing digital ecosystem and diverse products.

15+ DIGITAL PRODUCTS

15+ Digital Products Completed, including HENI Editions, Primary, Talks, News, Publishing and many more products.

PROBLEM

Creating consistent, intuitive digital experiences across diverse platforms, audiences, and content while preserving HENI’s distinct identity.

HENI’s rapid growth had resulted in a diverse range of digital products, each serving different audiences, purposes, and content. The challenge was to create clear and intuitive experiences across these platforms while maintaining a consistent visual language and connection to the HENI brand. With multiple products spanning collecting, publishing, exhibitions, digital art, and commerce, the work required balancing individual platform needs with a cohesive and recognisable experience across the wider range of digital services.

SOLUTION

A flexible design system creating cohesive, intuitive experiences while allowing each HENI platform to retain its unique purpose.

The solution focused on creating a flexible and consistent design approach that could adapt across HENI’s diverse digital products. I developed clear information structures, intuitive user journeys, and a cohesive visual language, while allowing each platform to retain its own character and purpose. By establishing reusable design patterns and components, the work created greater consistency across the websites, improved usability, and provided a scalable foundation for future digital products and content.

SCOPE OF WORK

Designing 15 digital products spanning art editions, primary artworks, publishing, exhibitions, commerce, and digital experiences.

The scope of work covered the design and development of 15 digital products across HENI’s portfolio, spanning art editions, primary artworks, publishing, news, talks, exhibitions, NFTs, commerce, and artist platforms. My role involved shaping information architecture, user experiences, interface design, visual systems, and reusable components. Each product required a tailored approach to its content and audience, while maintaining a consistent visual language and experience across HENI’s diverse digital platforms.

Strategy & Research

I explored HENI’s products, audiences, content, and business goals to identify opportunities, define priorities, and establish a clear strategic direction for creating purposeful and effective digital experiences.

UX UI Design

I designed intuitive user journeys and refined interfaces across HENI’s products, balancing functionality, editorial content, and visual expression to create engaging experiences tailored to each platform’s specific audience.

Design System

I developed reusable design patterns, components, and visual principles to create consistency across HENI’s digital products, while providing enough flexibility to support different content types, functionality, and brand expressions.

Accessiblity

I considered accessibility throughout the design process, focusing on clear navigation, readable typography, appropriate contrast, intuitive interactions, and inclusive experiences that made HENI’s digital products easier to use.

RESULTS & IMPACT

Creating clearer, more consistent digital experiences that strengthened HENI’s presence across its diverse range of art platforms.

The work established a more consistent and scalable digital presence across HENI’s 15 products, making each platform clearer, more intuitive, and aligned with its specific purpose. Reusable design patterns and components improved consistency while supporting efficient development across multiple websites. The resulting experiences helped HENI present art editions, primary artworks, publishing, exhibitions, digital projects, and commerce through clear, engaging interfaces, creating a stronger foundation for future digital products and continued growth.
